The Nazareth Competitive Dance Team is on their way to the IHSA state competition tomorrow at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.  The team advanced to the State Competition after their performance at Sectionals this past Saturday. 

This morning, students, faculty and staff cheered on the team with a “clap-out” before the team leaves for tomorrow’s competition.  

The team, lead by Coach Kristen Yarka, includes Junior Tatum Barbier, Sophomore Claire Beresford,  Sophomore Taylor Black, Sophomore Alice Buchman, Freshman Emma Chiarito, Freshman Beatrice Cook, Junior Mario Cortes Jr, Freshman Ava Distel, Sophomore Ava Hartshuch, Sophomore Emma Heery, Freshman Lia Jozwaik, Junior Margaret King, Senior Payton Kohutynski, Junior Olga Kondraros, Junior Kayla Lopez, Sophomore Faith Mouw, and Freshman Rosaria Ricchio.  

State Finals are taking place on Saturday, January 29.
