Frankie Imparo proved that class counts when he won the Black Tie Formal Wear online contest receiving a prize of 500 dollars. Frankie first found out about the contest last year while visiting the Black Tie Formal Wear in Lombard to shop for his tux for junior prom. He uploaded a picture of himself in a suit at a school dance and passed the first round which consisted of getting friends to like Black Tie Formal Wear’s Facebook page and his photo.
He competed against fifteen contestants in the second round for the grand prize. Frankie stated, “I asked everyone I possibly knew to like the photo and was so lucky to have had the support of many Naz students and parents and even friends from other high schools that all voted for me.” He got 500 dollars from Black Tie Formal Wear over the summer for winning and received an additional 500 more, courtesy of Senior Board. Frankie received the check personally on March 6th in the dining hall during E lunch.
Frankie also said, “I had no clue I would be the winner. When I won I felt amazing. It was crazy. I personally never win contests or anything like that, so being able to win was awesome!” Frankie Imparo is a member of Senior Board along with Nazareth’s Young Entrepreneurs club. Congrats Frankie!
