Broncato pays it forward in math and more

Patrick Broncato joined Nazareth’s Math Department this year to teach Trigonometry, Introduction to Statistics, and Honors Geometry.

Broncato grew up in nearby Wheaton and went to Glenbard West. He attended the University of Dayton, where he met many Nazareth alumni. It was through these college friends that he really got to know about and appreciate the Nazareth community.

One of his favorite things about being at Nazareth is the welcoming environment that greeted him at the start of his career.

Alongside the welcoming community, Broncato also mentioned that he loved the spirit and camaraderie during homecoming spirit week and the culminating WALK fundraiser.

In addition to his responsibilities in the Math department, Broncato is also the coach of the Boys Junior Varsity Golf team. But he doesn’t just coach, he is an athlete, too. Broncato is a member of a co-ed softball team and loves to get involved in sports and activities whenever possible.  Also in his free time, Broncato loves to watch sports and hang out with his red labrador.

Broncato is excited to pay it forward as a teacher. His many positive experiences during his own high school and college careers really inspired him to become a teacher himself. He is excited to try to impact his students the same way he has been impacted by his teachers. He vows to honor their legacies every day with his dedication to his students and his teaching at Nazareth.
