Science department to debut new course next year

An exciting new science class is being introduced to Nazareth’s curriculum in the 2017-2018 school year: Honors Anatomy and Physiology. This new class focuses on the human body and its different functions and assets. Mr. Banasiak, the head of the science department, says that this class has been introduced because it caters to the interests of many students at Nazareth. “A lot of students are interested in fields like physical therapy and nursing,” said Mr. Banasiak. “We’re very proud of all of our science courses, but Honors Anatomy and Physiology will provide new and interesting topics for these students to learn about.”

Because students will need to complete a biology course before taking this class, Honors Anatomy and Physiology will only be available to seniors who passed biology their junior year. Honors Anatomy and Physiology is perfect for anyone interested in fields involving health and the human body or anyone who is passionate about biology and life science. The science department is thrilled to introduce this new class, so make sure to keep an eye out for it when you’re planning your schedule for next school year.
