Student Spotlight: Frank Li

Joshua Knight, Staff writer

AP Calculus is a very difficult class to get into and getting 100% on the exam is even harder.

There have only been 12 students in the world to accomplish such a feat. One of those students is Nazareth’s very own Frank Li. Frank is a Chinese exchange student and a senior at Naz. He has talent in AP Calculus, and as he said himself  “[The test] wasn’t that difficult.”

Regardless of how hard he thought it was, it was an extraordinary feat to surpass. He also said he couldn’t have done it without Naz and his mentor Ms. Biga. He believes math is his calling.

When asked what he would say if he met one of the other eleven students who did what he did, he simply said “say Congratulations!”

Frank Li is an amazing student who is well on his way to being a well known mathematician.
