There has been a lot of surprising events that happened so far in the NFL season. Among them are the Miami Dolphins surprisingly getting off to a slow start and firing their head coach. Under the new head coach, Dan Campbell, they won two games in a row and on Sunday they had a blowout 44-26 win against the Houston Texans.

Texans running back, Arian Foster, came back from a knee injury in week 4. Then, in week 7 against the Miami Dolphins he suffered a torn achilles and was carted off the field and will most likely be out for the season. Foster was playing very well after his return, and it is a shame that he just cannot stay healthy. He is a great player, but just can’t stay healthy.

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, got injured early in the year

and veteran Mike Vick came in as his replacement. Vick then suffered a concussion in week 6 and 3rd string quarterback, Landry Jones had to come in in week 7 as they lost to the Chiefs 2013. Landry Jones threw for only 1 touchdown and threw 2 interceptions. The Steelers are hopeful that their starter, “Big Ben” will be back for week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Dallas Cowboys also lost their starting quarterback, Tony Romo, early in the season. They turned to backup Brandon Weeden through week 6. Then in week 7, they started veteran quarterback, Matt Cassel instead of Weeden. They also gave their starting running back, Joseph Randle, a lot less of a role. They leaned more towards Darren Mcfadden who rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 2720 loss to the New York Giants. Matt Cassel threw 3 interceptions and only 1 touchdown. Also, their star receiver, Dez Bryant, got injured in the first game of the season on Monday night against the New York Giants and he needed foot surgery. There was a chance of him playing on Sunday, but he felt discomfort in his foot and the Cowboys did not want to take a chance, so he did not play in Sunday’s game. He might be able to play week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks, but they are not sure, and they will use the same caution as they did in week 7. The Cowboys are pretty confident that their star will be back on the field in week 9 against the Eagles on Sunday night.

There have been a lot of players this year that have been fantasy football breakout players that not a lot of people expected. Such names are Devonta Freeman(RB), Todd Gurley(RB), Deandre Hopkins(WR), and Gary Barnidge(TE). Freeman and Hopkins both had the most points at their position going into week 7, but did not have as big of games as they usually do on Sunday. They had solid games and fantasy owners definitely should not be worried. Barnidge had the 2nd most points out of all tight ends and just got 100 yards receiving against the tough Rams defense. Todd Gurley had 163 total yards and 2 touchdowns on Sunday against the Browns where they got a 246 win. All undefeated teams stayed undefeated after this week as the Bengals, Packers, and Broncos were all on bye week and the Patriots and the Panthers both got wins.

The Week 7 Fantasy Football Perfect Lineup is as follows:

QB: Tom Brady and Kirk Cousins (29 points each)

RB: Lamar Miller (35 points)

RB: Todd Gurley (27 points)

WR: T.Y. Hilton (27 points)

WR: Nate Washington (24 points)

TE: Jordan Reed (19 points)

Flex: Arian Foster (23 points)
