Annual Sib Fest to take place this Friday

Brizanelly Romero, Staff Writer

A few weeks ago, students at Nazareth were asked to take a survey during homeroom asking them if they had a younger sibling in middle school. In the surveys, information about each Naz student’s sibling was gathered, and with that information, their siblings were invited to Sib Fest.

Sib Fest is an annual gathering that Nazareth Academy hosts so siblings can come and get familiarized with the school. All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are invited to this event, even if the Naz student or sibling can’t make it. At the Sib fest, there are other activities to do besides getting to know the school, such as playing games, eating food, and buying raffle tickets to have a lucky shot at winning a cool prize. Siblings of current Naz students are encouraged to come and enjoy a good time.

The Sib fest is on Friday, Sept., 25 in the Rooney Student Center. It begins at 5:30 and ends at 7 p.m, but if desired, guests can stay for the Nazareth Football game, which starts once the Sib fest ends. Drop offs and pick ups for this are to occur at the main entrance. For information, contact Kristen Stojetz at [email protected] or 708-387-8505 by Sept. 21st.
