  • Nerd        A Nerd is a classic and easy DIY costume when in a crunch for time. All you’ll need is a pair of 3D glasses from a movie theater, duct tape, a white button up shirt, suspenders, and black pants or skirt. First, take the 3D glasses and punch the lenses through. Next, take a small strip of duct tape and wrap it around the center piece that rests above the nose. Then, put on the white button up shirt and pants or skirt. Finally, attach the suspenders.
  • Zombie     A Zombie is a classic costume to spook all of your friends on Halloween! The things you’ll need are a baggy old t-shirt, jeans, combat boots, fake blood , white face paint, black eyeliner, and scissors. First, take the t-shirt and cut tiny holes in the shirt and then rough up the edges with the sides of the scissors to create a frayed effect. Next, put on your jeans and shirt and take some fake blood, and smear it on your clothing. Then, put a thin layer of white face paint on and smudge some black eyeliner around your eyes. Finally, put on your boots and get ready to creep some people out!

  • “Social Butterfly”   The “Social Butterfly” is the perfect costume for anyone that likes to joke around on Halloween. The things you’ll need are paper, a computer, a phone, a printer, tape, butterfly wings, black pipe cleaners, and a black colored outfit. First, put on your black outfit. Next, put on your butterfly wings and shape the black pipe cleaners into antennas and attach them to your ears so they are sticking upwards like butterfly antennas. Then, print out some pictures from the internet of different social media platform icons. Cut out those icons and tape them all over your body. Finally, have your phone in your hands at all times to show everyone how “social” you are.
